Red Light Therapy

Red Light Therapy can be added to your acupuncture session upon request. Red and/or Infrared light has many benefits. Ease the pain of stiff joints and inflammation, decrease headaches, migraines, and insomnia, stimulate hair growth and the circulation of blood, promote collagen and elastin production and effectively treat signs of aging by softening fine lines and wrinkles. The light panel can be placed over the head/face or other areas of the body as needed. Skin should be free from makeup and other products that may deflect light away from the skin. Lights do not penetrate through clothing. Area treated must be free from clothing.

The key to staying healthy is balance. When we work together with the laws of nature, our body’s processes and functions will work together harmoniously to keep us in a state of homeostasis. Unfortunately, there are stressors that interfere with our body’s ability to heal itself. My job as an acupuncturist is to decrease these stressors through appropriately treating the underlying cause in order to allow natural healing to occur.

I am nationally certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. I am licensed in the state of Arizona. I obtained my Master’s of Science in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, where I was presented with the Golden Needle Award for mastery in the use of Acupuncture and Moxabustion in clinical service to patients.

My special interests are in general wellness, emotional health, stress, depression, anxiety,

digestive complaints, migraines, allergies, pain management and facial rejuvenation.

I am constantly studying and learning more ways to improve the health of my patients

so that they may enjoy life to the fullest!
